such a pretty face
i want you to know my name
maybe you can show me heaven
think i'm gonna love this
come by my way
take me for a smoke in the ally
oh what you do to me
i can't find the words to explain
think i saw you one day
riding with some boys
your messy hair blowing
in the wind, making noise
like a wild dog howling at the moon made me swoon
and i never thought i'd see you again
under his spell i came looking for an end
so many told me of his truths and delusions
but i was weak and his words were heroin
i melted by his touch like a burning ember in his hands

Low-key but huge, blisters floats in a strange balance between tender confessional and sweeping gospel epic, the lyrics enigmatic but deeply personal. Through some truly creative soundscapes, serpent's voice is, as always, close and central, giving this album the vibe of a private moment of rumination on love and self. Tom Colquhoun
honestly i love this album because, i love the sadness it portrays. i love the vocals, the acoustics, the electronic, experimental notes. eartheater really knew what to do with this album. vvinni
What an amazing and strange album! I remember the first time I heard of Josiah's work was a FADER article on Twitter about his debut EP. An EP which I liked but this album I love. Especially the track "cherubim". It's the most intense and moving track on here. It makes me want to move and dance as wildly as Josiah and his lover did in the music video for it. I can't wait to see what Josiah does in the future. John
